About this spot

Lipari is the largest of the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the northern coast of Sicily, southern Italy; it is also the name of the island's main town and commune. Primary access is by boat. If you're not bringing a vehicle, try to board a hydrofoil; they're significantly quicker than the ferries, and generally quite comfortable.

The Island of Lipari itself is ideal for trekking and hiking, while the surrounding seas and islands can be explored on one of the many charter boat trips available.
