About this spot

Fehmarn / Gold is one of the most popular surf spots on the island of Fehmarn along the Orther Reede. The spot is about 2 km northwest of the Fehmarnsund bridge and 1 km north of Strukkamp beach.

The predominantly shallow water is ideal for surfers of all skill levels. Accordingly, the area is heavily frequented during the summer months. Along the coast surf schools and bars are available.

There is a separate zone for kitesurfers. Care must be taken with the rocky dike zones, and the shallow water can be interspersed with sea grass.
